Awesome stuff. Some really good prices and some ok prices. Not a lot of help outside - employees were scarce and the two we encountered were very experienced in avoiding & evading customers. If you know exactly what you need & aren't brand or model specify, there's a reasonably good chance of finding a hell of a good deal. But you need to know your retail prices beforehand so you can make an informed & educated decision.
Awesome staff helped me find windows for my project. They will hold items for 30 days and will help you load them. I'll be visiting them again for my future projects.
We have purchased many materials from VJ's over the years. Seems the last few times, we have experienced unpleasant customer service. One of the employees in particular, is very cocky, eating while he's talking to you, scoffs at the thought of having to return merchandise we over purchased etc. Even witnessed, from a different employee, a customer seeking information. The employee was verbally impatient towards the customer. I normally call people out when I see "customers" being rude to employees, but geez...
VJ's is a great place if you are looking for a great price on your home renovation project. They offer many different items: flooring, appliances, doors and much more. Their selection is varied based off of what they have received in surplus, so I would recommend going in with an open mind. They are always friendly and helpful if you need assistance when loading up a heavy or awkward item. Their prices are reasonable most of the time and that makes it budget friendly when remodeling.
