After searching for a tile installer, I came across Maxim Tile. Maxim Tile had great reviews and it appeared that Mike actually took pride in his work and wanted to do it right the first time. I contacted Mike on a Thursday morning for help with some grout in a shower. After discussing the project with Mike, he showed up Monday morning and had the job completed by noon. The work turned out better than I had expected and his pride and quality of work shows.
I found Mike through a Google search and reading his glowing reviews, and now I see why he's so highly recommended. We recently hired him to tile a shower in our basement, and the results are nothing short of AMAZING!. His professionalism, attention to detail and immaculate craftsmanship stood out every step of the way. We found Mike through a recommendation on FB but turns out that my Bro-in-law works with his wife. My Bro-in-law is a general contractor on the side of his day job and he knew Mike and would at times ask tile questions through his wife. So he came recommended by my Bro-in-law too. Mike did an amazing job. Our walk-in shower was poorly done prior to us moving in. We hired someone to repair the basin and that tiler did an atrocious job. Have done business with Mike twice now. Once for re-tiling a bathroom floor, and another for rebuilding a shower. He's the complete package in terms of professionalism, dependability, communication, and quality of work. I have not found a contractor in any specialty that compares on any of these terms, let alone a single one. He is responsive, talented, knowledgable, respectful, and takes pride in what he does. And, he is perhaps the best craftsman I have ever hired: his work is beautiful and flawless.
I had a tremendous experience with Matt tile and specifically Mike. We had a shower issue that ended up requiring most of our shower to be re-tiled. It was in the part of our house that my elderly mother lives in. Mike was very communicative and made sure we knew when he’d be back and exactly what was going on with the work.
