Great experience. No personal contact, but worked over the phone and the place was nice, clean & quiet once the premature fireworks stopped. 😀
We were traveling from Minnesota to San Diego for my son's graduation from Marines Bootcamp, and needed a nice quiet place to stop with our pop up camper for the night. I called the number and the lady was very nice and helpful. Over the phone she helped me find a pull though spot so that I wouldn't have to back up with my camper. The bathrooms were clean and there was showers available too along with a nice area to lounge and you could even do your laundry for a cheap price. The campground has plenty of shade trees and a laundry. The entrance has deep pot holes and so.e of the sights are unlevel with about 6 to 10 inches differences from one side to the other. Once after digging several 3 inch deep holes on the drivers side for the tires to settle into, we still had to use 4 inches of board on the passenger side to get the RV level. Once level, the first step up is somewhat high to comfortably enter our RV. At the time there was no wifi available. The current price is $55 a day.
I stayed here for about 3 months during a travel nurse assignment. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I felt very safe and welcomed. I had no trouble walking my dog around the beautiful campground. It’s amazing coming from a dirty part of Florida to somewhere so clean.
Sandra, the Manager is very nice and hospitable and makes sure you are taken care of. Very quiet considering it's in town. I was surprised. There are lots of trees, cute squirrels, bunny rabbits and pretty birds, lots of good hot water in the showers with 3 shower stalls in both the men and women's, some really neat landscaping around the office and instead of chopping down any of the trees that have died in the past, they have had a chainsaw artist carve some really cool sculptures from those trees and they keep the ground... read more
