This place is BEYOND amazing! After what had been an immensely stressful 24hrs, I handed the gentlemen my one and only key fob in shambles. I was ready and willing to pay $250-300 for a new one; as a single mom of 2, I just needed a way to start my car. They had cut me a new key, programmed a new fob and had it ready to go in 15 min. Oh and for $40!!!! I was mind blown. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming as well. I was so relieved I started to tear up when I got in my car. This place is hands down the best!!!
We've been dealing with this company for almost 2 decades. EXCELLENT company!!!!!! I called yesterday to get into a file that I had misplaced the keys to. They came out today and Brian took literally 1 minute to get into the lock. He replaced it, made keys ON THE SPOT, and charged a reasonable price. I would recommend this company to EVERYONE. This is one of those old fashioned type companies where people cared about what they did and are trustworthy!
I have used Colonial Lock several times. Twice in the last two days. The employees who work there, are awesome. Family owned business where everyone is helpful, and no one ever has an attitude. Increasingly hard to find these days. They are incredibly knowledgable, and beyond helpful, with incredibly fair pricing. They sucessfully made several spare keys for my almost 20yo Suzuki. I had some electric bike battery keys I needed copied. My search was far and wide until I found Colonial Lock Service in Westminster. Manufactures wanted up to $25-$30 per key but Colonial was able to copy my keys quickly and easily (I brought the batteries with me to test the locks). Not only a good and fair price while I waited, but I felt very comfortable in the shop too as the staff 'live in the real world'. 100% refreshing to find in today's marketplace.
This was my first time using them, and I will definitely use them again. Communication was great, service was great, and the price was excellent. I had my van key fob cut and programmed.
